On the 14th, the Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau issued a local standard for LED road lighting that was jointly drafted by the Provincial Metrology and Testing Technology Research Institute and Wuhan Diyuan Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd.

According to reports, LED street lamps are nearly 60% more energy efficient than traditional street lamps, and their carbon emissions are only 1/8 of that of traditional street lamps. Wuhan Diyuan Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. is the only domestic manufacturer with the core technology of the upstream industry. The products independently developed have broken the situation that LED lighting chips are completely dependent on imports. At present, Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone is home to more than 20 LED production enterprises, with an annual output value of over 2 billion yuan.

According to reports, LED road lighting local standards have standardized technical requirements, providing technical basis for product design, production and inspection.
