It is reported that urban buildings and parking lots in Burton County, Michigan, USA will use energy-efficient LED lights. Michigan City officials pointed out that in the 2011-2012 fiscal plan, the investment of $600,000 will be used for the installation of LED street lights, compared with the previous year. In comparison, an increase of $100,000. Part of the subsidy program will be used for the promotion of indoor lighting and commercial lighting in energy saving programs.
