Problems and solutions in the installation of solar street lights in rural areas

In recent years, as the focus of rural construction support, the construction of new rural areas has developed rapidly, and the country has undergone earth-shaking changes. What is more obvious is the huge improvement in traffic conditions. In order to facilitate the night activities and travel of the village name, solar street lights were installed on the roadside. Especially in our five cities in Hexi, Gansu, because of the groundwater used to irrigate the farmland, there was no street light before, it was dark at night, and when going out to irrigate the farmland at night, you still need to bring a flashlight. In order to facilitate farmers to travel at night, the government supports the installation of solar street lights in rural areas.

After installing the solar street lights, the farmer friends were very satisfied because traveling at night was really convenient. But it didn't take long for some people to be dissatisfied with solar street lights, and many villagers even said they would not install street lights. So what is the main reason for such a situation? According to the survey collection and opinions, we mainly summarize the following three issues. 

1. The interval is far away and the brightness is not enough. Currently, solar street lights are basically installed in rural areas, and solar street lights do not need to be connected to electricity, as long as they absorb solar energy, they can be converted into electrical energy. But because the spacing of these solar street lights is a bit far, the spacing between some street lights is even a few hundred meters. In the countryside, there are many trees and many bends. When you encounter a street lamp whose brightness does not meet the requirements, it can only illuminate a small area under the street lamp. Obviously, this brightness does not meet the lighting requirements and cannot meet the needs of rural lighting. 

2. The quality is worrying and the after-sales are difficult. According to the villagers, when these street lights start to have problems, some people will come to repair them. But later, even if it was broken, no one was responsible, and it was always bad. The lighting time of these streets is getting shorter and shorter, when the weather is clear, the lighting time will be longer. However, if it rains, it will suddenly "strike" for a while.
