Taiwan's "Standard Inspection Bureau" to establish LED lighting fixtures with light distribution characteristics test

It is reported that Taiwan's "Ministry of Standards and Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs" completed the testing of the light distribution characteristics of LED lighting fixtures in November 2009 and is now providing industry testing services.

According to Chen Jieshan, Director of the Standards Inspection Bureau of Taiwan, the equipment for “lighting curve of LED lighting fixtures” was built according to CIE 70-1987, IESNA LM-79 and IESNA LM-75, in line with national standards CNS 15233, CNS 9118. , CNS 15015, CNS 15250, energy-saving stamps and the requirements of the US Energy Star, will later build the test energy of color rendering and color temperature of LED lighting products, gradually complete the detection and verification energy of LED industry in Taiwan, and match the US Energy Star Certification, to achieve the purpose of international standards. At the same time, it assists manufacturers' LED products to complete the testing and verification in Taiwan and enhance the competitiveness of the international market.
